[TPIN] help with missing valve cap insert

In many cases the pearls aren't available by themselves,  you must buy the
entire finger button.
Can be a pretty hefty investment just to replace a pearl.

I'd have to agree with finding a button in a fabric shop or using epoxy to
make a new one.

Don't big repair shops have access to mother of pearl buttons?  You  would
think that losing the pearl top of a valve cap is pretty common,  especially
with students.  Maybe you should call around some,  Richard.  If you can
find a
replacement, it might not exactly match  the others, if that matters.
