I have the same problem.  Range is severly impacted for me.  I am playing these series of concerts this summer in which I am playing the Mendez Virgen de la Macerena.  All of the concerts are outside.  Tonight we have a concert at the Virginia Beach Ocean Front.  It is supposed to be 99 today with a heat index of 110.  It makes the high E at the end extremely difficult.  My face swells half way through the concert and then I need to play the Mendez.  Not good.

Staying Hydrated tends to help a little bit, but the heat and humidity really swells things up.  I find that if I really concentrate on playing efficiently, it helps, but it still stinks.
