When we start talking about eating ice-cream as an influence on trumpet
playing,... Hmmmm... Might be time to have our psychological pulse checked.
<g>

Jamison, Martinis, Beer... Hot Peppers... Maybe... <ggg>

(from pedal tones to ice cream... Quite a "seque"... )

... well the only time I was encouraged to eat ice cream by a doctor was
after my tonsillectomy at age 40. My throat hurt so bad, I just wanted to
crawl in a hole and die. It eventually healed; but I was unable to play any
louder than before.

BTW

I am always amazed by Ms. Pocius' ability to diagnose medical problems
without seeing the patient, and diagnose playing problems without hearing
the player. She must be indeed a gifted psychic.
