[TPIN] More sad news!

I'm sure that having rejoined TPIN today that you are already way  
ahead of me on UK news etc. I was terribly saddened to hear of the  
death, earlier this week, of John MacMurray. I'm sorry if this thread  
has already been discussed at length. As I'm sure most are aware,  
John was Principal Trumpet of the Halle Orchestra in Manchester, UK.  
He was Canadian, trained at Julliard and London. Sadly, John had  
endured a prolonged fight with cancer.
