All,

I'm pleased to announce that the TPIN response to the death of Maynard
Ferguson will be a significant part of the International Trumpet Guild
Journal's tribute to Maynard in the January ITG Journal.

The posts that have been made since his death will be part of a compilation
of responses that will be included with the journal.

IMPORTANT: If you do not want your post to be included and printed in the
Journal please notify me off-list asap. If you want yours to be considered
for inclusion, but you don't want your name on it notify me off-list asap.

ALSO IMPORTANT: We need your photos of Maynard. Photos will really help to
tell the story, so if you have a good personal photo of your Maynard
experience, please consider scanning it and sending it to me. A photo will
greatly increase the chance that your post will be included in the
compilation. Photos should be ideally 400-500k in size.

Rest assured that ALL the posts will be put on a web site and referenced
from the article. This will be great exposure for TPIN and will ensure that
your thoughts about Maynard will be read more widely.

I'm still trying to find the personal email of Kim Ferguson to be certain
the family gets your posts. I'm running out of avenues to try. If anyone has
a way to get this information please let me know off-list.
