That was the 6th Army (headquarters) Band. I was stationed there in 70 to 72 and that story was legend there, we all assumed that it was true because any one of us at any time could have been tempted to do the same. By the way, it is Reville in the morning and Retreat and To the Colors in the evening I also remember running across a part with Herb Alpert's signature on it.
