[TPIN] An excellent read by Timofei Dokshizer

After a long, long time of procrastinating, I finally joined the ITG. I was
happy when my mailman delivered my new members package. What a bargain with
dues at $40 a year. Included with all the great trumpet literature was a
book of memoirs written by Russian trumpet virtuoso Timofei Dokshizer. I
couldn't put the book down and finished it this morning. For those who
haven't read it, it's one book that I highly recommend trumpet players (as
well as non-trumpet players) add to their reading list. Thanks be to the
ITG, for their role in having this book published. Otherwise, it wouldn't
have been. For sure, when July rolls around and my ITG dues bill arrives,
it'll be the first bill I pay that month.
