Hello Everyone,
I have three Bb's for sale. A Bach 37*, a Selmer K-Modified 24b,
and a Yamaha 6335HS II. All prices negotiable. Please see below for
details.
Thanks,
Greg
FS: Yamaha 6335HS II Bb trumpet in silver. This was Yamaha's top pro model
before they introduced the Xeno. This is a great playing horn that is in
excellent shape as well. The horn has a great sound and superb intonation.
It blows freely in all register and the articulations just pop out nice and
crisp.
It is in excellent shape, with only minor surface scratches and
three pinhead dents that won't show up in the pictures. The valve
compression is excellent and all the slides are fast and clean. It has
sound sleeve heavy caps and metal valve guides. Asking $900 or best offer
(plus shipping). Anyone willing to come to Boston is welcome to play test
the horn. Pictures at <http://s58.photobucket.com/albums/g241/gs329/>

For Sale: Bach Stradivarius 37* (lightweight bell) in lacquer. This is a
great horn with solid intontaion, a great sound, very free blowing, and it's
easy to play. It is an early elkhart horn from the early 70's so it has some
lacquer wear and typical bumps and scrapes for its age, but it plays great
with fast valves and slides. Asking $850 or best offer (plus shipping).
Anyone willing to come to Boston is welcome to play test the horn. Pictures

FS: Selmer K-Modified. This is a 24B (ML bore) #218xx (ca. 1959) in raw
brass with a 1st slide trigger. This is a really nice playing horn. The
pitch is dead on and it responds great. It has a nice dark sound, but it can
really sizzle when you want it to. Even though it's an older horn, all the
valves and slides are fast and in good shape. There is good "pop" when I
pull the slides (though I haven't removed the trigger to test the first
valve.) There are small dents here and there and dents on the tuning slide
(someone tried to free a stuck slide it appears) the bell bow, and on the
bell just behind the front brace (see pics.) There is some pitting
throughout different parts of the horn. There is a hairline crack (2mm
short) on the bell bead, but the K-Modifieds have a reinforcing ring around
the bell, so this isn't a big deal. It is also missing the mother of pearl
inlay on one of the valve stems. This horn plays great as it is, but if you
want it to look as good as it plays it may warrant a trip to the shop. This
could be a great deal for someone looking for a vintage horn and is more
concerned with how it plays than how it looks. All reasonable offers
considered (you ship). Includes a hard case. Please email with any questions
