In 1942 my dad put a funnel in the end of a loop of garden hose and a 
mouthpiece in the other end. If I would carry that thing around with me all summer 
blowing on it with a satisfactory demo come fall he would get me a trrumpet. I 
did. So did he. I recieved a 1929 olds hand hammered brass trumpet. sn 728.
The hose and funnel are long gone, thank the lord. The trumpet is not. The 
old Olds keeps on .
