Yeah, like telling my wife to back up so I could try and see what was  
causing an unfixable flat when I broke the security lug nut trying to break the  
lugs off the wheel.  John Lynch has the photos, but both (!) horns were  
repaired.  I eventually sold one to a needy new teacher but still play the  other.  
The gig bag they were in probably prevented more damage since the  horns rolled 
under the axle.  Both bells were eventually replaced, though I  played them 
with John's excellent repairs for a long time.
