This reminds me of a joke I heard a couple weeks ago.. I hope it translate

Jazz guy tells a story of when he was on tour in Europe with a big band.
They went to Rome. He was really impressed by the guy on the balcony in the
big hat who came out and gave the crowd a slow four. :-)
