[TPIN] Kanstul 1600 vs WB

John,

The Kanstul 1600 was originally developed with input from Mr. Bergeron and dubbed the WB model. Once that relationship had ended and Wayne began his collaboration with Yamaha, Kanstul redubbed the horn as simply the 1600. The specs for the 1600 have not changed. While I prefer the versatility and timbre of my 1500, the 1600 is a great horn. Amazingly easy upper register, great flexibility, really lights up the room when you pour on the gas.

Yours,

Further clarification as to why I am asking.... Seems as though the older
ones had "WB" stamped on the leadpipe mouthpiece receiver and the newer ones
have "1600" stamped on the leadpipe mouthpiece receiver. Is this change
solely because Wayne has a Yamaha horn coming out? Seems like the change
may have been been made before that time?

Is there any difference between the Kanstul 1600 and the Kanstul WB?? Are
they both the same exact horn??
