[TPIN] Air pressure injury?

The short answer is....you're playing too hard. Here's a great way, I feel,
to find the "red" zone. We as trumpet players don't realize how loud we
are. We also don't realize how little effort it takes to project sound.
Try this.......Record yourself playing at several volumes. Stake which
volume you are going to play at....ie. P, MP, MF,...etc. Play it back and
see what you find. My favorite thing to do is find a legit guy (classical)
and compare your loud to his. It doesn't have to hurt man. Bobby Shew has
some great insight on how to play more efficiently. Check it out.
Questions? Comments?....:)
