[TPIN] Bach Strads in the fall

I have seen a number of postings in various places, and really don't know what to believe regarding the current supply of new Bach trumpets.
   
  I suspect that Bach probably has not made as many Strads this year as in years past. I have also seen the messages about "the last serial number made before the strike," et al. 
   
  What is the real situation, according to those who may know more than we do? 
   
  Also, in Texas we have quite a pent-up demand for Silver Bach Strads every fall. If you have one you want to sell, please contact me off list. While they will be at a premium anywhere if supplies are limited, Texas is a gigantic market for these horns, and the band directors are adamant about their importance, real or imagined.
