[TPIN] Bach Strads in the fall

This is not true. Bach is owned by Selmer which is owned by Steinway.
Steinway oversees all the upper management. Selmer Paris is a completely
different company I believe. Bach workers have been on strike awhile, so
this may affect availability soon. I talked to Tedd Waggoner (Bach manager)
at ITG in early June and he said the vote that took place during the
conference was very close to passing. He said that this was good news
because it meant they were moving in the right direction and that there were
only a few minor details to hash out. I haven't heard a thing since then.
I went to the plant in February and picked out 35 or so trumpets and was
shocked by how consistent they were. I was not picking Strad Bb's though.
Only Cs, cornets, piccs, Ebs and flugals. I got a tour of the plant and was
shown some very specific ways in which bach has been addressing the
inconsistency issue and it seems to me that they are on the right track. My
2 cents.
