Dear Tpinners and Nanette,
    If Nanette is not monitoring this maybe I will email her separately. My
main problem with the tops on the bottles is forgetting where I've put them
when I 've taken them off for oiling an instrument.  When I'm at home it is
less than a problem. Could the bottle and lid have a connection similar to
the one that attaches my gasoline filler cap to my car?  I know some of
these might interfere with the oiling, but maybe a smart designer would like
to design one for valve oil and other similar applications.  Just a thought.
