There is a tube that runs to your inner ear (behind the eardrum) to the
lower bottom side of the interior of your mouth....This is to relieve the
air pressure difference when you are at altitude or flying. (I guess God
knew we were going to develop airplanes....) Anyway, it could be that the
pain you are feeling is the same kind of pain you feel when your airplane
comes down to land from a high altitude, and you have trouble clearing the
pressure difference by yawning.....Perhaps the pressure buildup in your
mouth is causing eardrum pain.....I don't know what to do about it, but that
could be the cause.....
