Thanks to all you folks who provided me with the encouragement to keep playing the trumpet. It was heartening to receive so many replies, not a single one advised just quitting. I'm going to my lesson tomorrow. Does anyone know the source of this quote, "The trumpet is any easy instrument to play . . . badly." Thanks, Stephan
