Can you say the word "kitty?" Like, "here, kitty kitty kitty!" Congratulations - you've just taken the first step to double-tonguing. Now, granted, it's a whole lot harder to make the "kitty" stuff work while maintaining the airstream, keeping the chops buzzing, etc. - but as far as the physical capability and it being a genetic issue, in my experience that is a questionable hypothesis.
