Phil briefly played in my college band with me.  It was obvious even  then 
that he was *enormously* talented as a soloist.  Concerning the case,  we have 
only read a paragraph or two about it.  Eventually the whole thing  will be 
written up in the tax archives, but it is very easy to misstep when you  are in a 
nonprofit situation, as many of you already know.  Chances are,  the decision 
will be appealled, but hopefully Phil will come through this all  right and 
be able to get back to his work and ministry.
