Yes, I have a copy of this verion. It's in Eb major concert for trumpet and
piano or organ. Trumpet parts are supplied for Bb and C trumpet. Published
as part of the Dokshitser series by Editions Marc Reift, Switzerland
(http://www.reift.ch/)
If you're in the USA, you can get it from Dick Wuopio at Solid Brass Music
in San Rafael, California: http://www.sldbrass.com

Louie
Just picked this one up. I have two versions (both for piano and
trumpet) of the St Marc.
The first (and best) is by editions Selmer in their Maurice Andre series
(edited by Jean Thilde). It is in concert Bb and says in the insude cover
that the orchestral aprts are only availble for hire.
The other version is the old Brass Press edition, which is in concert F
(lower than the Selmer version). On the back of this edition, David Baldwin
(who arranged it) mentions that Timofei Dokshizer has published an
arrangement for trumpet and piano in Eb, based on the Thilde reconstruction.
Most of this you know already, of course, but I was wondering what key you
were going to play it in for your recital - the lower F version or the
higher Bb version, and if the latter (which, in my view is the better, but
only because it sounds a bit more brilliant in that key) what trumpet you
were going to use. (My personal preference would be for Bb picc, but if
you're doing the Neruda as well, I suppose it's possible to use an Eb for
both. In either case, I would personally lack the stamina to do both
concerti in the one concert.)
Finally, if you do arrange it for strings, I think you might find a few
people on TPIN who might want to add it to their collection, which might
cover your costs on doing the arrangement. Just a thought!
Good luck with it.
