[TPIN] Off Center Aperture Questions

Hi all,
To add to my woes, using a mirror last night I discovered that I play
slightly out of the side of my mouth. I'm not sure if this developed so
I could see the music past the trumpet or because my upper lip makes a
sort of m shape making it difficult to get a small aperture in the middle.
I can hardly lip buzz at all through the same hole I play through. This
makes it clear to me that I am relying on mtp and air pressure to get a
vibration.
This also explains why I'm having a hard time transferring my lip
buzzing to the horn - I naturally lip buzz through the center and it
feels very alien centering the cornet.
My questions are:
Is it normal to have an m shaped upper lip?
Is it wrong to play to the side of the upper lip dip?
Will lip buzzing through the middle be limited by the upper lip dip?
Should I adjust my lip buzzing to match how I currently play or adjust
my playing to match how I naturally lip buzz?
Thanks,
Mike.
BTW: Sailing the Seven Cs is on its way :)
