  It sounds like it is some stuff left over from the manufacturing process.
Your repair lady could probably just target the offending port and give it a
mini-chem cleaning to fix the problem.

like dug into the metal of the valve port.
    I use Holton oil if that info helps anyone.
    Any ideas on how to stop this or clean it??
