I’m getting real tired of playing the same tunes all the time for wedding ceremonies and church
services. My biggest problem with this is at a church where the congregation is more musically learned
than most. They’ve heard me do most of my tunes already and I hate to do repeats for them.

Please suggest a few tunes that you use most often in church/wedding situtations that work well with
organists and that you enjoy playing. I could use suggestions on both processionals and slow/lyric
pieces.

The ones I do most often are:

The Classical Wedding - Wallace/Head
The Joyous Wedding - Wallace/Head
Six Processionals - Handel/Concordia
A Simple Song - Bernstein/Boosey
Panis Angelicus - Franck
Sheep may Graze - Bach
Ave Maria - Gounod
Arioso - Bach
Trumpet Tune - D. Gabrieli
Trumpet Finale - Manfredini/Concordia
Hornpipe - Handel/Johnson
Baroque Composers of the Chapels Royal - Concordia
Baroque Music for Weddings - Concordia

Thanks,

Dave
