[TPIN] Bass trombone (for tuba) in a brass quintet?

Paul,
I think (recalling an old photo in the ITG Journal), that it was a
baritone and not a trombone in Ewald's group. I think they were all
valved instruments, and all conical-bore. The E-flat alto horn, rather
than an E-flat fluegl, sounds logical.
