Here is something from Michael Davison about NTC.

  Pro Am Division; Dr. Michael Davison, Chairman.  Selected competitors will
be invited to perform in Trumpet Ensembles by ability level and will be able
to perform during selected NTC events under the direction of Dr. Michael
Davison.  Competitors must be 28 years of age or older.   No application fee
will be charged but applicants will be asked to submit solo CD¹s just as in
other divisions to gain acceptance into the program. There will be no
required repertoire list. This newly revised group will give the players an
opportunity to perform in a non-competitive ensemble and meet players of
like interests as well as many of the NTC artists.  The ensembles will
rehearse Wedenesday.-Friday and perform on Friday. Each accepted partipant
will receive a certificate of participation.
