[TPIN] Carmen

I just picked up my music for Bizet's "Carmen" and discovered that besides the first tpt book, there is a 
smaller book of three or four movements.

I'm assuming that this is for the offstage tpt, so now I need some coaching on how to do the offstage 
stuff.

Is it meant to be done by the 1st trumpeter, or the second, or another trumpeter?

Is there time for the first trumpeter to do both parts, leaving the pit for the offstage work?

Could the Packers be any more inept that they are now?
