will be offered as accessories for this new exciting trumpet as well, making
this too one of the most versatile trumpets ever made! As with all Flip
Oakes Wild Thing Trumpets, and Cornets, this newest ŒCELLEBRATION¹ Model
will also include Flip¹s own ŒDigital Valve Alignment, and Enhancement
Process as well. Also Included is the PRO TEC Contoured PRO PAC Case.


Flip Oakes Bb Wild Thing Trumpet

Flip Oakes first developed this unique design in 1994 for himself.  The Bb
Wild Thing Trumpet is a very open free blowing .470 XL bore that produces
the ultimate in a sonorous rich full-bodied sound. This model produces the
fullest richest, vibrant, and most exciting sound, with the fastest
response, superior intonation. It has very strong stable slotting, and yet
with great flexibility as well. The slots lock in, but not so hard that you
can¹t move off of them. The Bb Wild Things carrying power is also
unsurpassed. 

The Bb Wild Thing comes standard with both #1, and #2 tuning slides. All
optional Flip Oakes Standard #3, #4 and ŒJ¹ 1, 2, 3, 4, Tuning Slides are
offered as accessories as well.

The Bb Wild Thing Trumpet is very mouthpiece sensitive. Even though the Wild
Thing Bb Trumpet design produces a sound that is very open and dark with a
huge core when played with a deep cup or a symphonic mouthpiece, or it can
also produce a very bright and vibrant lead sound when played with a lead
player's set up. Rather than closing-down, these trumpets open up, as you
play higher and higher! This trumpet really is a "Chameleon" that will
produce a variety of colors of sounds, depending how you approach it.

The difference in these Wild Thing instruments can be seen, felt, and heard
by all.  Players of all musical styles are now enthusiastically playing the
