[TPIN] Transposing help wanted

i.e. up a major 3rd,
... well if your parents tortured you with
piano lessons when you were a kid, you make have
learned to read bass clef.
First time I ever saw D trumpet part was for Lalo
"Symphonie Espagnole" when I was in 11th grade
HS orchestra. (We had a hot shot student violinist who
was playing the piece with the orchestra).
My HS orchestra teacher (string bass player) anticipating
the problem told me to pretend the part was in bass clef and
add 4 sharps to the key sig.
I've done so, ever since.
