Have the student experiment with various placements of the tip of the tongue (use it like a paintbrush, for example!<G>)...
Also, have them try an anchored tongue (bottom of tongue resting atop bottom teeth), with articulations occuring via the top of the tongue hitting the bottom of the top teeth...
