[TPIN] Jim Trimble relation

Jon, thanks for that interesting tid bit. This is so strange as I was 
channel surfing early this afternoon, and stumbled on to a Lawrence Welk 
Tribute on our local PBS station. They would show parts of one of the 
original broadcast, then cut to one of the surviving band members(today it 
was Ken Lido???..I remember he had dark hair , had a pleasant voice, nothing 
out standing. He was with the band in the 70's until the show went off the 
air. So, it's possible  I saw your grandfather. It's not that I particularly 
enjoy watching the Welk show, but I was thinking about my Dad, who loved his 
show(plus alot of the "sweet"bands from the 30's and 40's..Hal Kemp, Guy 
Lombardo.etc.)
It was a bit of a stroll down memory lane, especially since Dad passed in 
1992.
