[TPIN] Vincent Bach Mt.Vernon 1C

Just wanted to share.

I have been looking for a Vincent Bach Mt.Vernon 1C muthpice since about
1980 when  I was a student.
I saw one for sale in the US for about 10 years ago, but it was to expensive
for me at that time and the seller wouldnt ship to Europe.

This Saturday I was browsing through German eBay to look after a trumpet for
a beginning student. When updating the page someone(of course I know his
name now) had just put in an "Sofort kufen"(buy now) ad for this goldplated
Vincent Bach Mt.Vernon 1C in a very good condition.
For me It was just to push the button before anyone else did, and I succeded
doing that.(also to manage to ignore the pricetag)

I guess I will be running to the mailbox like a kid waiting for a new toy
the next couple of days now:-
And that is just what it is. A toy that I have been waiting for in 26 years
now.

Of course I´m aware of that the modern 1C that I have been playing on since
1975 is probably just as good, but....

Anyway , I just wanted to tell you because I´m so happy that I finally found
that Mt.Vernon 1C that I have been looking for half my life.
If the woman of my life finds out what I paid for the mouthpiece, I´m sure
that my life will end very soon:-)
