Why buy special equipment ? if you already own a turntable and a hi-fi 
amplifier, you have just to connect the magnetophone recording output of 
the preamp to the line input of your sound card.

A good program for recording is AD sound recorder 
(http://www.adrosoft.com) It is the cheapest one which allows monitoring 
of the signal before recording, so as to adjust the recording level.
