Gregory,

You've got three (basic) options:

1. Transpose it manually writing it out by hand.
2. Transpose it manually punching it in with computer-based notation sofware
(i.e., Finale Notepad)
3. Type it into notation software that will then automagically transpose it
(i.e., Finale Allegro)

#1 and # 2 are good exercises, if you want to brush up your transposition
'chops' (and Finale Notepad is free). #3 is faster, but an app like Allegro
costs about $200. (There is undoubtedly other notation software capable of
transposing - perhaps cheaper).

The fourth option is to just practice transposing from the original key, of
course - but it doesn't sound like you've got time to get comfortable with
that before the performance?

Anyway - hope this helps.

Just wondering if there is a handy dandy chart or spreadsheet or whatever
that would help me transpose a few chamber music pieces, which are in A,C &
D.
