If you don't know of Jeff Holmes, he's a first-rate trumpeter (and a
first-rate pianist, a first-rate drummer, a fine composer, and a great
arranger whose charts were in the library of The Tonight Show Band and the
Tommy Dorsey road band. His charts for his own band are often in the Thad
Jones mold).  He's a professor of music at UMass Amherst. His band is always
great and swinging.

This will be an event.
