Well, pardon me for the off-topic comment, but many years ago I said that 
charging money for scholastic sporting events (and, I suppose any scholastic 
event) is a bad thing to do. - I still believe that. Schools are meant to 
educate, and not generate money. When they start to generate money, their 
educational objectives are compromised.........
