Isn't ammonia potentially damaging to raw brass, creating conditions within  
the brass that often result in redrot?  I heard that years ago, maybe from  
Wayne Tanabe, but ever since then I've been real careful with ammonia, including 
 not even using Windex around my horns.  
 
Anybody know the scoop on ammonia and brass?
