Great information - thanks for taking the time to send this off.  

I've been interested in the Wild Thing also, out of pure curiosity as much
as anything else.  It seems like such a radical shift.  For me anyway -
these things have huge bore sizes - and I've heard the bell doesn't accept
standard mutes unless you modify them (is that true??)  

So I would want to have the time and focus to really test it out -
especially given that you need to pay $250 or so to try one.   

Thanks again.  All of this talk is really wetting my appetite to get moving
on this...
