Mates,     Does anyone know who played lead trumpet and jazz solo on Nat Cole's L-O-V-E on Capitol.  I vaguely remember somebody saying that Gozzo played the Capitol sessions for Nat.  The solo is so tasty and the sound, that's what I call a trumpet sound.   The lead playing is equally fabulous.  It could be the same player as the solo.  The F# at the end is so fat, you could build a house in there.     As they say, "Its the man behind the gun."  but that's some kinda gun he's shootin.  That sound just kills me.glenn
