Fellas,

Discussing alll the hypotheticals and making hypothetical aussmumptions upon her hypothetical attitude and her hypothetical status in the world music community
or a hypothetical artistic merits, or the hypothetical reasons why her management company did what they did.

Trying to contact her is not poor manners and I didn't read anything that implied that on this list. However, some might or might not construe something said in this public forum as acceptable manners or poor manners.

Personally, I think public conjecture about her attitude and attitude of Alison and her management publicly is not fair to either. And for anyone to be making comments about the significance, quality or size of the trumpet scene, or music scene of the UK and/or the rest of Europe (which were made in other posts)would be pejorative.

They have a very very fine trumpet scene, most of which we on OUR side of the puddle, we are almost completely. Most of their recordings are not heard nor imported in this hemisphere. Therefore we are fairly ignorant of their scene. Some of the ITG members up for election to the officers and members of the board talk about encouraging a world membership improvement can now start doing that. Importing recordings and featuring European players would be a very worthwhile project.

As it stands right now we are mostly the Trumpet Players American network TPAN. How about we work toward really being a TPIN? To the betterment of all of us.
