i also met doc at the itg in denver...very warm, but also selling his
horns...however, i tried as a college student for literally scores of time
to talk with him or get a message to him (even waited backstage, where i met
snooky young), but the firewall around doc was unbelievable, so i think it's
unfortunate to draw personal conclusions when on is dealing with busy
artists, agents, management, etc...for every great story, there's always one
of someone feeling ignored or snubbed...i'd rather not get into the personal
comparison games....dave lee, austin, tx
