Hi Listmates,
As many know, the symphony orchestra here in London, Ontario, Canada, is
a fine orchestra. Its two main trumpet players Shawn Spicer, and Peter
Audet, are both excellent players. I believe about twenty-five or thirty
years ago it was found to be necessary, ( when the late, Allan Jame Ford
played trumpet there) to change the name from The London Symphony Orchestra,
to Orchestra London, Canada. I have no idea whether this orchestra has done
a lot of sound tracks. They have a thriving "Jeans 'n' Classics" series,
based on arrangments created by London, Ontario composer, Peter Brennan, but
I don't know whether that fulfills the qualifications you mention. In fact
I have no idea what recordings have been made of these efforts.
