[TPIN] "Clifford Brown Jazz Festival"

Just played at the Natchitoches jazz/r&b fest last Saturday and Edgar
Winter was the headliner.  The only reason these fests have "jazz"
associated with the name is to get corporate sponsors.  At least I got
my picture in the paper as  a "student"  with the college ensemble.
That makes me feel a little younger.  ;)

It's a shame no trumpeters are playing at the festival honoring one of
music's  great trumpeters.   Perhaps letters to the editor are in
order.
