[TPIN] ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE

You might want to try contacting Matt Schulman www.shulmansystem.com
Aside from being a very accomplished jazz player and the inventor of The
Schulman System, he has studied the Alexander Technique, though I'm unsure
to what level, and his "System" is based, at least partly, upon Alexander
Technique principals.

p.s. In case anyone is unfamiliar, The Schulman System is a support bracket
for holding the trumpet weight while playing. It uses a neck strap and a
series of adjustable fulcrums on a wooden bracket to position the instrument
optimally for the individual player/horn/embouchure combination.

Cheers,
Geoff Stevens

More so, is there a book on the Alexander Technique specific to brass or
trumpet playing? Seen lots of books, but don't know if any of them relate
directly to what we do.....maybe the system just does anyway!
