[TPIN] Minneapolis bridge disaster

Greetings,

Tim Phillips just contacted me (thanks!) and inquired about the 
Minneapolis bridge collapse tonight... Interstate 35W in the middle 
of Minneapolis that handles  tens of thousands of vehicles a day. 
Having traveled that route many times, I am aghast at the utter 
destruction of the whole bridge... just unbelievable.  The bridge was 
40 years old, but had a life expectancy of 70 years.

All in our family are fine & hope that our friends in the Twin Cities 
musical world and TPIN are also OK.  We were worried for a little 
while, as one of our daughters was working a party (as a caterer) a 
couple of blocks away.  She was a bit shaken when a distraught woman 
who had been on the bridge walked in to the restaurant.  Being in an 
old building, they hadn't heard or felt it.

Time will tell what it was all about.
