[TPIN] American in Paris solo question

Take a men's felt "dress" hat  (30's/40's esp.)  and cut a slice large 
enough to get your bell through, in the center of the crown.  Insert 
trumpet from the outside/in.  Don't make your cut too lengthy or the hat 
will (too easily) fall off.
