Thanks for catching that, does make a difference (I was at work away from the part when I wrote in).

I like Joe Johnson's account of Mr. Voisin's beret (very elegant), and thanks to all who answered.  I'll try a couple of things at the rehearsal tonight and then decide tomorrow--nice resonant hall, so the sound should get out well, no matter what.

Actually, it's not "felt hat"--it's "felt crown".

Personally, I prefer the Altman bag.  Bigger, easier to put on and take off, 
puts out a little more sound.
