[TPIN] Valve alignments/how precise ARE they?

All the valve alignment gurus have their own way of doing it. They all seem
to think the others aren't precise. This has happened to me several times.

I've had horns aligned by Wayne Tanabe (brass bow), Reeves, Ken Larson
(brasswerks)as a part of a conversion and Rich Ita. Who knows for sure?
Perhaps the answer is to get a bunch of different spacers, felts and pads
and experiment yourself. I know some go so far as to unsolder the piston
from the valve to reposition it side to side...
