Team,

If y'all would practice and get a good teacher, you too could play like that. We all got 24 hours in a day. Most of us don't use it worth horse leftovers from a parade.

AND most of us are way uptight. That little dude is having a lot of fun. And the reason the little dude won't burn out is because he's having fun.. When it ain't fun, we quit. And the guys like Maynard, and Wynton and chris botti who have hung out with Geoffrey had a riot with him too. Just look at the smiles on their faces. Botti was so cool about encouraging parents to give their kids a chance and to help the kids to develop.

Its a lifetime of music. Just because your are this age or that age or this level or that level doesn't mean anything. The coolest thing about this little guy is his pure joy of playing that horn. He doesn't even know that its hard. He just wants to have some fun and keep practicing. Now aint' that a lesson?

We're so worried about sounding great all the time and comparing ourselves to the greats and to perfection, we ruin the fun. We get in our own way. This kid is what its all about.

glenn, go get the horn outa the trash, and have some fun, bengry
