My C trumpet has a 239 bell. My friend Don Tison who played for over 30 years with the Baltimore Symphony (as principal trumpet) tells me that the 25s is the best lead pipe for the Bach 239 trumpet. Both his horns have that pipe and the 239 bell and both of those horns are the some of the best sounding and in-tune Bach C trumpets I've played. Gregg Peele
